Monogram T for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, February 27, 2018

Welcome friends. I have a card to share with you today using a fun set from Concord & 9th. They recently came out with a Monogram line of stamps which I adore.  You can find the whole alphabet here

For this card, I started by die cutting a pink panel from Lawn Fawn's Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die. I then stamped the Monogram T set with some grey ink.  I used my Tim Holtz stamp platform to stamp the image 3 times to get a crisp look. love how each of the letters has spaces for you to stamp in the little floral bits. I then added this over some vellum die cuts that I made using the Leafy Greenery set of Die-namics from MFT.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

I then stamped one of the banner images from Lawn Fawn's Bannertastic set and die cut it out with the coordinating dies. The sentiment is from the newly released Sweet Friends set from Lawn Fawn.

I finished off the card with some heart sprinkles from Doodlebug.  Thanks for visiting. Crafty hugs!

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, July 18, 2017

Welcome friends back to another post for TupeloDesignsLLC. Today, I am using some fun Lawn Fawn goodies.

I started by doing some ink blending with some Distress Oxide inks in Faded Jeans, Cracked Pistachio and Broken China. I then took my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer and added some water droplets to my panel. After it was dry, I ran it through my Big Shot with the Stitched Cloud Backdrop: Portrait die from Lawn Fawn. I love the detail this adds.

I then got to work stamping and die cutting my birds, sun and bee from Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine stamp set. I colored the images and then stamped my sentiment which is from the same stamp set.

And there you have it - another card for my stash - perfect to send to a friend or loved one to brighten up their day.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I'll be back here starting tomorrow for the July Whimsy Stamps release.

DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC

Thursday, July 6, 2017

Hi friends. I have two projects to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC, both using some fun Lawn Fawn goodies.

And before we get to today's projects, I do want to let you know that there are a few brands that are 30% off in the store with a coupon code including my favorite Concord & 9th. Click here for the details and the coupon codes. Sale ends July 9th.

I have a fun shaker card to share with you first today. I started by stamping the fun piñata image from Year Seven along with some of the sentiments from the same stamp set. I did just a bit of real simple Copic coloring. I took some of the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned paper and die cut it with the largest die from the Large Dotted Rectangles die collection. I also used one of the smaller dies from the set to cut my frame for the shaker card. I inked it up in some coordinating green ink.

On my acetate for the shaker portion, I stamped some of the fun candy images with White Staz-on ink directly to the acetate for a fun effect.

My second project today is a fun box that is the perfect size to hold a gift card and some small chocolates. I used the fabulous Fancy Box die to create the box. I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Happy Happy stamp set and then stamped and die cut the butterfly from the Fab Flowers stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today friends. Crafty hugs!

Welcome friends. I have two cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC using lots of fun Lawn Fawn products.

For my first card, I started by die cutting the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Landscape die. I masked off the outer edge of the die so that I could ink up the tree trunk. I used the Simple Grassy Hillsides dies to cut some white card stock which I added Twisted Citron Distress Ink to add color.  I added some cloud detail to the background with some Tumbled Glass ink and stamped the sentiment from the Meow you Doin' stamp set. I finished off the card by stamping and die cutting one of the cute cat images from the Meow you Doin' set.  I added the sweet little kitty into the grass along with a party hat from the same set.

For my second card, I stamped one of the Happy sentiments from the Happy Happy Happy stamp set repeatedly in rainbow order. I left room for the supporting sentiment. I trimmed this panel down and then added foam tape. I added some MFT Black & White Paper Pack.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC - Lawn Fawn Love

Thursday, June 1, 2017

Welcome friends. I'm sharing a fun birthday card with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC using a fun new stamp set from the latest Lawn Fawn release. Click here to see all the latest Lawn Fawn - many of the new items are marked down 20% off.  The store also just received in the latest release from Altenew. Click here to see those fun goodies. My favorite - the Halftone Hearts. Look for some inspiration soon with that set here on my blog.

Now back to my card. I first started by spreading some white embossing paste over a stencil. After it was dry, I added some green Distress inks in Mowed Lawn and Shabby Shutters over it. I just pounced my ink blender tool onto the dried embossing paste.

I then started my stamping and did a bit of simple masking using the new Wild for You stamp set from Lawn Fawn. As you can see, I kept it really simple with no coloring. The only thing I did was add a bit of ground with some light grey Copic markers. I popped this up with foam tape and that's all there is to it.

Happy Harvest for Frantic Stamper

Monday, August 29, 2016

Hello -- I had so much fun making this card. I wanted to use this fun Wooden wheelbarrow die from Frantic Stamper so I looked through my stash to see what I had that would work well with it and I found the super cute Happy Harvest stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by stamping my corn stalks in various inks and heights. I then sponged in a bit of sky. I stamped and colored my pumpkins and then tucked them inside that fun wheelbarrow. Lastly, I added a stitched border for some grass that I sponged with some various green distress inks.

I'm wishing now that I would have used a different ink color for the sentiment -- perhaps a Kraft ink or dark brown. The black is such a contrast to everything else on the card but I suppose there is no changing it. :)

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow.

Wishing you a Speedy Recovery for Frantic Stamper

Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Happy Wednesday friends. I have a card to share with you today using some fun dies from Frantic Stamper

I started by inking my background with a background stamp linked below. I then die cut my bowls and whisk, both from the Mixing Bowls & Whisk die set from Frantic Stamper. I stamped the bowls with a fun pattern to dress them up a bit.

I finished the card by stamping a sentiment from a Lawn Fawn set and then added some sparkling clear sequins.

Thanks so much for your visit. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs for Frantic Stamper

Monday, July 25, 2016

My card today features the fun Retro Daises dies from Frantic Stamper. I die cut two of the dies from a piece of white card stock and then used the negative piece to use as a stencil.  From there, I sponged on some various distress inks in blues and greens.

I added the sentiment from a Lawn Fawn wooden word and some fun heart enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by. Crafty hugs!

Best Grandma Ever for Frantic Stamper

Monday, June 13, 2016

Welcome friends. I haven't had a chance yet to share the card I made for my daughter to give to my mom for mother's day. I started by die cutting the Lattice Oval Frame die from Frantic Stamper. It's very delicate but if you use the Stick-it adhesive on the back, it makes adhering this die a breeze.

I then die cut several of the blooms from the Mix n' Match Crocus die set and added some coloring to them with my Copic markers. I also gave each of the flowers some sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella pen. I stamped the sentiment and added some sparkling clear drops from Pretty Pink Posh.

As always, I truly appreciate you stopping by. Crafty hugs!
