Layered Floral Dies with Altenew

Welcome friends. I know we are way past Mother's Day but I wanted to share this card with you as really, the main focus is on the gorgeous dies from Altenew.

I started by die cutting both the Layered Floral A and the Layered Floral B dies, both from Altenew in varying shades of pink card stock.

I then layered these onto my dark pink card stock base using some liquid adhesive. To finish off the card, I added my sentiment that I popped up with some foam tape.

I absolutely love these dies and the gorgeous cards that you can create in just minutes.

March Clearly Whimsy Stamps Release Day #2

Welcome to day 2 of the March Whimsy Stamps release. Today, I am featuring the beautiful Mother Love stamp set. It is absolutely full of wonderful sentiments celebrating the mothers and women in our life.

I wanted to showcase many of the sentiments so stamped and heat embossed lots of the sentiments on my card panel. I started by stamping the sentiment in the center and then worked my way out. I added foam tape to the back of my panel, added some sequins and the card is complete.

Best Grandma Ever for Frantic Stamper

Welcome friends. I haven't had a chance yet to share the card I made for my daughter to give to my mom for mother's day. I started by die cutting the Lattice Oval Frame die from Frantic Stamper. It's very delicate but if you use the Stick-it adhesive on the back, it makes adhering this die a breeze.

I then die cut several of the blooms from the Mix n' Match Crocus die set and added some coloring to them with my Copic markers. I also gave each of the flowers some sparkle with a clear Wink of Stella pen. I stamped the sentiment and added some sparkling clear drops from Pretty Pink Posh.

Mom for Frantic Stamper

For today's card, I die cut the Mom Round Vignette Insert die from Frantic Stamper 6 times from my aqua card stock. I then used the same die and die cut it 6 more times from some adhesive backed gold glitter paper. I then did an inlay technique so that everything is flat. I took some of that same gold glitter paper and added two strips down either side of the card panel. My front panel got popped up on fun foam for dimension.

And there you have it -- a card I will use for Mother's Day this year for one of the special women in my life. As always, thanks so much for your visit.

Happy Mother's Day for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Hi friends. My card today is for Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I started by doing some masking and inking of the flower images from the Mom's Layered Flowers I then stamped the sentiment and then die cut the panel with the extra fabulous Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle dies.

I popped up my pain panel on foam tape for added dimension. And believe it or not, I left this card embellishment free. Seems like normally I would have added some sequins but for some reason, I left them off this card. Maybe I just forgot?  :)

April Release Day #2 for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Welcome back to day 2 of the April release for Clearly Whimsy Stamps. Today, we are featuring the Mom's Layered Flowers stamp set. This is a beautiful set with options to color the flowers or to stamp the insides. Not to mention there are some beautiful sentiments.

I stamped my flowers and did a bit of masking to stamp the leaves. I then did some simple Copic coloring and then fussy cut out one of the flowers and added some foam tape under it for a bit of dimension.   I also used the fabulous Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle dies from last month's release for the stitching detail around my card panel.

Mother's Day

I know we are well past Mother's Day but here is the card I made for my sister-in-law's first Mother's Day. I kept it pretty simple. The main panel is popped up on foam tape.
