A Valentine's Hello

Hi friends and happy Valentine's Day to each of you. :) I appreciate you stopping by today.  For my card today, I am playing with some fun products from Memory Box and Impression Obsession.

I started by taking the Painted Hearts background image from Impression Obsession and stamped it on a piece of white card stock using my Misti so that I could double, even triple stamp it.  I stamped it using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.

I die cut this panel using the largest die in the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die collection from Whimsy Stamps.  The heart die cut is the Pinpoint Leaf Heart die from Memory Box.  I love the fun stitching detail it provides inside the heart.  

The hello die cut sentiment is from an older MFT set. I added the die cut heat to my card panel with some foam tape and then added the sentiment on top of that.  I finished off the card with some Tree Hugger Wooden Hearts from Honey Bee Stamps which I thought were the perfect embellishment for this card.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

Welcome friends. I have a fun shaker card to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. I first started by taking a piece of Bristol smooth card stock and heat embossed the Sketched Roses background stamp from Impression Obsession onto it using my Misti. After it was heat embossed, I took some Distress inks and did a bit of ink blending.

I then die cut my panel to start building up the shaker frame. I stamped the sentiment which is from the Fill in Phrases set from Concord & 9th directly onto the acetate using White Stazon ink.

I then added a double layer of foam tape on the frame. I placed the inside panel and some sequins and then added the top layer.

Christmas Card Challenges Week #22

I have another tag to share with you today for the current challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. As you can see, I used it to house a Starbucks gift card. I loved making this tag and the depth I was able to achieve by adding some of the die cut birch trees on the outside and some underneath the vellum.

An embossed Hi

I'm sorry for the slow last few weeks on my blog. Health issues are keeping me down and I just can't seem to make it to my craft room. This card is one I made about a month ago. 

I've been wanting to play with this gorgeous background stamp from IO for some time now. I started by embossing it in white. I then took several colors of Distress Inks and inked my background. The die cut sentiment is from MFT and some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finish off the card. I should also mention that the entire card panel is popped up on fun foam.

Happy Birthday featuring Neat and Tangled

I wanted to play with this gorgeous die from Neat & Tangled today. First, I stamped my background using a super fun stamp from IO. I decided to round all the corners to better match the die. The sentiment is from a Paper Smooches set. Lastly, I added a sprinkling of sparkling clear sequins to finish off the card.
