Whimsy Stamps September Release Day #4

Monday, September 4, 2017

It's day 4 of the September Whimsy Stamps release and I have one card and a set of two tags to share today.

My card today uses the beautiful news Abstract Christmas stamp set. It has a beautiful tree image and lots of sentiments.  I thought it would be fun to stamp the tree repeatedly for a fun geometric look. After my stamping was done, I trimmed down both sides of my stamped panel removing the stump part of the tree. I added a die cut vellum piece with one of the Christmas Branches dies and added my stamped sentiment over top that.

For my second project I created two gift tags using the super cute Oh What Fun stamp set. I stamped a couple of the fun images along with a sentiment from the same set. I did some real basic Copic coloring, added some twine and the tags are done.

Here is a close-up of all the fun products being introduced on the Whimsy blog today.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. And I hope my US friends have a wonderful Labor Day. Crafty hugs!

Merry Christmas tag for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, November 23, 2016

Hi friends. I have a fun tag to share with you today using some newer products from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I started by stamping, coloring and then die cutting the fun hot cocoa image from the Holiday Sweet Treats set. I then stamped an image from the Vintage Backgrounds set onto my tag. The sentiment is from the brand new Grunge Snowflakes stamp set. Some bakers twine finishes off the tag.

Thanks so much for visiting and for all my US friends, I hope you have a very happy Thanksgiving filled with lots of yummy food and extra family time.

Christmas Card Challenges Week #24 -- Anything Goes

Sunday, May 15, 2016

It's time for another challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and instead of a card today, I have a gift pocket tag to share with you. I am in love with the Gift Card Holder Tag from Reverse Confetti. I die cut the main portion of the tag twice and then on one of the cuts, I die cut the slot and the scallop border.  A sentiment from a retired MFT stamp set along with some fun twine, sequins and jingle bells finish off the tag.

Christmas Card Challenges Week #22

Sunday, May 1, 2016

I have another tag to share with you today for the current challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. As you can see, I used it to house a Starbucks gift card. I loved making this tag and the depth I was able to achieve by adding some of the die cut birch trees on the outside and some underneath the vellum.

Christmas Card Challenges Week #21 -- Anything Goes

Sunday, April 24, 2016

Hi friends. I have a fun gift tag to share with you today for the current anything goes challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. I started with the super fun tag die from Reverse Confetti that I cut twice. I love the die that lets you cut into it to slot a gift card in it.

I then adhered the two tags together, just on the outsides. I then added a coffee mug with some corrugated cardboard for a bit more realistic look. Some twine and ribbon finish it off.

Wishing you Valentine's Day Hugs and Winner!!

Saturday, February 14, 2015

Before I get to today's project, I have to apologize for my tardiness in announcing the winner from the Valentine's 5 for 5 blog posts that I participated in a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been feeling well and some things have just fallen through the cracks.  Any way, I added up the number of comments and then used excel for a random number generator.

Congratulations to Joy from Morning Glory Card Studio who commented on Day 5's post. You've won the following new stamp sets from Uniko Studio.

Now, onto today's project. I've got a fun tag for you today. I made several of these to put on some little treat boxes that I filled with chocolates.

I started with the Tag You're it dies from Lawn Fawn and then used some fun products from SSS.  I hope that everyone has a fabulous day today, no matter what you are doing. Crafty hugs!
