Sending you Sunshine

I had fun stamping all these sunflowers for my card today and as you can see, tried to get a variation in my colors but didn't do a super fabulous job blending the inks together as there are some harsh lines. But hey, that just adds to the charm, right? :)

Just a note for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Hi friends. I'm sorry I've been gone so long. I actually have plenty of cards to share but am finding it hard to find time to get them blogged.

Today's card features the super cute Lil Stinker stamp set from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I just love the little skunks. I started by die cutting a hill with the Stitched Border Trio dies. I then sponged it green with some distress ink. I also took a bit of Tumbled Glass distress ink and gave my sky just a bit of color. The sentiment comes from the Happy Hello stamp set.

For you -- featuring Lawn Fawn

I pulled out my NBUS Love you a Latte stamp set from Lawn Fawn and made this fun card featuring just a bit of Copic coloring and some ink blending. Don't you just love the pretty bokeh paper in the background? I absolutely adore it.

I'm thinking I will give this card with a gift card to Starbucks to a friend.

CAS Tulips

I have a real CAS card design for you today. I started by stamping the beautiful tulip image from MFT. I then colored it in with Copics. I then popped it up on some foam tape and added it to some silever metallic luxe paper from PTI. 

Don't look too closely at my coloring. I went outside of the lines on the orange rose and even my colorless blender couldn't help me. :)  I don't think you can really tell in the photo but both flowers did get a generous dose of my clear wink of stella pen. I didn't have time to redo the card and thought what the heck, I'll go ahead and share it any way, even though the orange tulip needs a bit of help. :)

Lil' Stinker for Clearly Whimsy Stamps May Release Day #3

Clearly Whimsy Stamps May release BLOG HOP!

The CWS design team have been sharing some amazing creations made with these new stamps and dies over the last couple of days, and today we are celebrating the release with a GRAND BLOG HOP!

For today's card, I am featuring the seriously cute Lil Stinker stamp set. This set has coordinating dies but I didn't use them on this card.  I started off by cutting a piece of water color paper. I then masked off a section for my grass and used distress inks to make my grass and then some blues to create the sky. I then added some water droplets to it. Isn't that skunk just the cutest? I love the fun sentiments that are included in the set.

I've got a bright graphic card today for you. I first started by stamping my harlequin background stamp in various shades of orange ink with the assistance of my Misti. I then cut out the center circle and added a butterfly. A bold sentiment from Paper Smooches and some sparkling clear sequins finish off the card.
