Just a note for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Tuesday, December 1, 2015

Hi friends. I'm sorry I've been gone so long. I actually have plenty of cards to share but am finding it hard to find time to get them blogged.

Today's card features the super cute Lil Stinker stamp set from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I just love the little skunks. I started by die cutting a hill with the Stitched Border Trio dies. I then sponged it green with some distress ink. I also took a bit of Tumbled Glass distress ink and gave my sky just a bit of color. The sentiment comes from the Happy Hello stamp set.

As always, a big thank you to each of you who stop by and an extra big thank you to those who also leave some comment love. I wish you all a very happy day.

For you -- featuring Lawn Fawn

Wednesday, September 23, 2015

I pulled out my NBUS Love you a Latte stamp set from Lawn Fawn and made this fun card featuring just a bit of Copic coloring and some ink blending. Don't you just love the pretty bokeh paper in the background? I absolutely adore it.

I'm thinking I will give this card with a gift card to Starbucks to a friend.

showCASe your style challenge #12

Saturday, April 4, 2015

It's time for another challenge at showCASe your style. This week, we have a great sketch for you to use. The challenge is sponsored by Clearly Whimsy Stamps but you don't have to use them to play along. However, if you are the winner and you do use stamps from the Clearly Whimsy line, your gift certificate value will be increased.

I have lots of birthdays coming up so I figured I should get a few made. I thought it would be fun to make a shaker card. First, I stamped the various stars onto my card base using the Happy Everything and Happy Hello set and . Then, I added the shaker element. I taped off each section of the die so that there would be 3 individual shaker sections. I filled it with some sequins and star confetti.

Here's a look at the inside of my card. I don't finish off my insides very often and really should think about doing it again.  The sentiment is two different stamps, both from the Birthday Balloon set. I also stamped the same stars as I did on the front to carry on the design.

Here's a closer look at the Clearly Whimsy stamps I used on today's card.

A fun birthday card for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Saturday, January 31, 2015

I've got a fun card today using the Thanks a Million stamp set and matching dies from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I popped up my three presents on foam tape.

I also used the Basic Background and Borders set for the gold stripes on the left of my card.

Happy Saturday friends.

Sending you Monster Hugs

Wednesday, October 29, 2014

Hi friends. I've made a couple of cards using this fun Monster Mash set from Lawn Fawn. Here's the first one. I started by die cutting two of the Stitched Film Strip Die from Pretty Pink Posh for my monsters to peek out of.

I busted out the Copic markers again. I still need practice shading and blending but these smaller images are definitely a lot less intimidating.  Some of my monsters are popped up on foam tape for a bit of added dimension.

I hope you have a fabulous die. Make sure to come back tomorrow for Day 1 Release for Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

I'm linking this up to the anything goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp and the current challenge at Lawnscaping Challenges.
