Whimsy Stamps May Release Day #3

Friday, May 19, 2017

This is my 2nd post for today. Click here or scroll down for my CAS-ual Fridays challenge card.

It's the last day for the May Whimsy Stamps release and today we are showcasing the fun Happy Birthday to You stamp set. I love all the fun sentiments in this stamp set.

I first started by taking the Butterfly Stencil and doing some ink blending over it with lots of rainbow colors. I then stamped the sentiment in the center. I decided it needed something else so I took the tiny circle images in the set and stamped those a few times.

I finished off my card by die cutting my stamped panel along with some patterned paper with the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle dies. I love how they add just the right amount of fun of detail to the card.

Whimsy Stamps May Release Day #1

Wednesday, May 17, 2017

Happy Wednesday friends. Thanks so much for stopping by today. It's day 1 of the May release for Whimsy Stamps and today, we are featuring some fun sets including the awesome For the Men stamp set. It's a great set for those somewhat difficult masculine cards.

I did want to make note that the entire release is available now so click here to see all the new goodies.

I chose to make a birthday card for my brother. I started by stamping the brother sentiment several times with various shades of blue ink. I used my Misti stamping tool for this to make this easier. After I was done stamping one line, I just simply moved my paper down or up rather than re-positioning my stamp.

I finished off the card by stamping the happy birthday sentiment from the Bold Banners stamp set. I then die cut it with the coordinating dies.

I hope you've enjoyed today's card. I'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration from the May release.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, April 25, 2017

Welcome friends. My card today is for TupeloDesignsLLC and would make a great card for the coffee loving men in your life. I am using two cling rubber stamp sets today from Tim Holtz.

I started by stamping one of the images from Brushstrokes stamp set in some brown ink. I then stamped the focal image from the Fresh Brewed Blueprint stamp set.

I have to mention that I really stay away from rubber stamps but I just couldn't resist picking these two up and I see more of these types of stamps in my future. :)

I finished the inside with a sentiment from Mint Owl Studios Coffee Craze stamp set.

Celebrate -- It's your Birthday

Friday, January 20, 2017

Hi friends. I hope you are having a great Friday and that you will have a wonderful weekend as well.  I have a fun birthday card to share with you today using some products from MFT.  This would be a great masculine card and I'm excited to have a couple of these in my stash now for some male birthdays this year.

I started by taking the Equalizer stencil and doing some ink blending over it. I then die cut the headphones in both black and red card stock and then stamped my sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

TupeloDesignsLLC DT Project -- 3 cards with Monster Love

Tuesday, September 6, 2016

Happy Tuesday friends - I'm so glad you are joining me today as I have 3 cards to share with you for TupeloDesignsLLC.  Before I get to that, I'm thrilled to announce that I have been asked to continue working with TupeloDesignsLLC as a full-time designer. I'm so grateful to Dan and Mike for this opportunity.

Now, back to these fun cards. I started by stamping lots of monsters from the super adorable Monster Love stamp set from MFT. I absolutely love this set and the cute monsters and the perfect sentiments. After all my stamping was done, I die cut them using the coordinating dies

I used various dies from my stash to create these three cards. Each one of the cards features a different sentiment from the Monster Love stamp set. I'm so excited to have these in my card stash for when I need a fun card.

Have a Super Birthday for Frantic Stamper

Hi friends -- thanks for stopping by today. I wanted to share with you the card I made for my nephew's birthday using some fun stamps and dies from Frantic Stamper.

I first started by stamping several of the images from the Super Sayings stamp set  in gray ink all over my card base.  I then stamped my sentiment from the same set on my cloud which I die cut from the Pow Zap Bam die collection and then stamped and die cut my super hero from the Superheroes set to add on the cloud.

There are so many great images in the Superheroes set and I love that it has coordinating dies.  The entire super hero release from Frantic Stamper is super fun and you can check out all the stamps and dies here.

As always, I truly appreciate your visits. Have a wonderful day!

CFC #148

Hi friends -- it's time for another challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. We are continuing with the birthday celebration and for this challenge, we'd like to see birthday cards for the boys in your life -- big boys, small boys -- the choice is yours.

Click here to link up your cards for the challenge. Remember that you don't have to use CAS-ual Friday stamps to play along but if you do and you are the winner, your gift certificate to go shopping at CAS-ual Fridays increases to $50!

I started my card by repeatedly stamping one of the images from the Naughty or Nice set onto my card panel. I then stamped the images from Shenanigans in a bold black ink. I kept my card very simple -- perfect to send to one of my brothers this year for a birthday.

I'd love it if you went and gave my fellow teammates some love.

Lastly, here's a better look at the CAS-ual Friday Stamps I used today.

A day on the Lake for Frantic Stamper

Monday, April 25, 2016

Hi friends. Did you know that Frantic Stamper is now having mini-themed releases twice a month? There were a great bunch of dies a week ago as part of its Father & Son release.

For today's card, I am using the Day on the Lake die. I started by doing some ink blending for my sky background. I also die cut some waves and did more ink blending.

I hope you all have great day and start to this week. Crafty hugs!

It's your Birthday for Frantic Stamper

Tuesday, April 5, 2016

Today's card features lots of products from Frantic Stamper. I started out by die cutting the Double Diamonds Card Panel die and keeping all the pieces intact using some Stick-it. I then inked the edges of it with some distress ink for a bit of shading and dimension.  I die cut the cupcake die from the Delicous Cupcake die collection, again giving it a bit of shading. Some fun wooden dots and a sentiment from a CASual Friday's stamp set finish off the card.

As always, I truly appreciate you stopping by. Crafty hugs!
