DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC

Hi friends - thanks so much for stopping by today. I have two cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. They both use the Linked Circles Cover Panel die from Reverse Confetti but in different ways.

Before we get to the cards, though, I want to remind you of the birthday sale going on all January at TupeloDesignsLLC. Click here for all the wonderful goodies you can receive for FREE with just an order of $20.17. And remember that there is still FREE shipping in the US with no minimum purchase.

For my first card, I started by taking a white card panel and blending on some Distress Inks. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade.  I then took that panel and die cut it with the Linked Circles Cover Panel die from Reverse Confetti.  I popped out all the center pieces and put those aside. I die cut the Hugs sentiment from both fun foam and gold card stock. Some sequins finish off the card.

For my second card, I took the same Linked Circles Cover Panel die from Reverse Confetti and ran it through my Big Shot. This time, though, I did not use the metal plate which I use with intricate dies to get a better and cleaner cut. I used the regular plates and only ran the die through my machine once so that all the interior pieces of the die would stay intact.

This worked like a charm. After the panel was die cut, I added lots of adhesive all over the back and added it to my card panel. I then took some of the colored interior pieces left over from my first card and added them back into this card randomly. I took a different hugs die from MFT, Sending Hugs, and once again ran it through my die cutting machine with fun foam and gold foil card stock. I added it to my card along with some gold sequins this time.

What do you think? Do you have a favorite between the two? I love them both and am having a hard time choosing.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

Wow, look at the different looks you can achieve! I really like the ink blending on the first, those colors are so pretty! I like the big hugs, too. Then the second card is a bit more understated. Hard to choose, that is for sure. My leaning, although slight, is toward the first. Since you asked. ;) Hugs!

Same die; two amazing results! The inking on the first is lovely and how wonderful to see some of the die cut pieces making an appearance on your second card. Big or little hugs, I love them both! Inspired (and perhaps a wee bit enabled, too *grin*)
