My card today is for this week's challenge at Sister Act Card Challenge. It's always an anything goes challenge as long as you link up a card.
I used a couple of fun sets from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I first inked up the striped background using the Basic Backgrounds & Borders stamp set. I heat embossed it in white and then used some Distress Inks over top of the embossing. I also used the Hello word die and the Say What stamp set from Whimsy.
I layered up my hello die cut to help it stand out a bit. Some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finish off the card.

Fantastic card, Alanna! I really like the idea to heat emboss the stripes then add the color. It's a really neat effect. I'm going to have to try to remember that. The word die in the color and black is terrific and the way the white circle sets it off is wonderful. Finally those sequins are the perfect touch.
Way to go Broncos on that win last night. How satisfying was that?! :)
I LOVE the stripes on this card and the colors. Awesome!
