PaperTrey Ink BlogHop

I'm happy to be participating in PTI's blog hop this month.  Participants are to use flowers.  I used my favorite flower dies from PTI and some gorgeous chocolate felt to create my flowers.

I've also seen a few people use a card front the same color as the card base so I thought I'd try that.  I also found this embossing folder in my stash that I thought matched the pattern in the background image I used for the focal image.

I lastly decided to swipe the edge of the card front with some fresh snow ink.  Unfortunately, I didn't do that great of a job.  Too thick in some places and not enough in others.

***Supplies***
Stamps:  PTI Matstack 1

Other:  Cuttlebug, PTI dies, felt and button

Thanks so much for your visit.  I'm anxious to hop around to the other participants this month and be inspired.  Have a great Wednesday.

Your card is so lovely. I often have troubles with inking the edges, and then find myself having to start over - ack! Great job on your card. ;-)

Lovely! I love the combination of kraft and cream together. And your flower turned out beautifully. I find using a balled up tissue to sponge ink onto edges helps me get it a bit even. But the thick-thin stuff looks cool too - more shabby in style!
