A Christmas card using scraps

Tuesday, June 2, 2009

Today's card is one for two challenges. I loved Karen's weekly sketch challenge and paired it with Sparkle's weekly Christmas card challenge. This weeks extra challenge from Sparkle was to use scraps. For an extra treat this week, Sparkle is offering up a special prize for participants. I had a 6x2 piece of the striped paper and cut it down to fit my card and then cut it in half. The size of my card is a 5x5.

Now, unfortunately for me and my card, as I was coloring Bella with my CTMH markers, I slipped and colored out of the lines on the pot. I don't own any Bella images, this one was given to me, and it's my last one. So, I'll have to live with the boo-boo on this card.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Wassail
Stamps: Stamping Bella, CTMH Seasonal Thoughts
Other: Buttons from CTMH, Liquid Applique
