Missing You with Hero Arts

Wednesday, January 16, 2019

Hi friends. I have a pretty card to share with you today that features some fun Hero Arts products. I love the Papel Picado Confetti die which is what I used for the background of my card.

I started by die cutting the background die and then added lots of small foam squares to the back of it to give it some dimension and lift off of the card base.

I then stamped, colored and die cut the main image.  A heat embossed sentiment along with some jewels from Pretty Pink Posh and the card is done.

Paper Layering Sunflowers

Friday, September 14, 2018

Hi friends. I'm back today with a fun card featuring the gorgeous Paper Layering Sunflower dies from Hero Arts.

I started by die cutting the sunflowers, leaves and stem from white card stock. I then took some ink daubers and blended on some various Distress inks.

I stamped the sentiment from an old MFT stamp set and gave my sunflowers some lift and dimension by popping up their leaves just a bit. I love that the die creates this dimension for you.

Some kraft card stock and rounded corners and this fun fall card is complete.

Sending Love with a Koala for TupeloDesignsLLC

Monday, February 12, 2018

I'm back with another card for TupeloDesignsLLC. I've had this super cute Color Layering Koala set for a few months now and have been itching to use it.

I started by stamping the koala and its 3 layers with some gray inks from Altenew and my VersaFine Black Onxy ink for the detail layer.

I then die cut some older paper from Lawn Fawn and stamped my sentiment from the Color Layering Koala set.  Some sparkling clear sequins finish off the card.

I appreciate you stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC with Hero Arts

Thursday, November 16, 2017

Hi friends. I'm so glad you joined me today. I have a fun floral card using the beautiful Color Layering Hydrangea stamp set from Hero Arts for TupeloDesignsLLC.

Hero Arts has so many wonderful color layering stamp sets. Click here to see all of the ones that TupeloDesignsLLC carries.

I started by stamping the base image with Fresh Lavender ink directly onto a piece of light grey card stock. I then stamped the detail layer with Sugarplum ink. I stamped the images again onto a separate piece of card stock and then fussy cut around the image. I stamped the leaves and then stamped the gorgeous sentiment which is also from the same stamp set. Some Nuvo Drops finish off this card.

Fall Trees for TupeloDesignsLLC

Saturday, September 23, 2017

Hi friends. I have a couple of super CAS cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. As soon as I saw the Fall Trees stamp set from Hero Arts, I knew I had to have it. I love the look of it and I knew that it would make making CAS cards a breeze.

I started out by stamping the tree image and one of the sentiments from the set onto my die cut panel. I then took 3 of the other images and stamped them using a green, orange and red ink for my fall tree.

I added just a bit of detail with my Copic markers to ground the tree image and the card is done. I'll be mass producing this one for sure to send some autumn greetings to friends and family this year.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

Wednesday, April 5, 2017

Hi friends. I have a card to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. If you haven't shopped there yet, it's a great store and they offer FREE shipping in the US with no minimum purchase.

For today's card, I started out by taking an Echo Park stencil that I received from a dear friend (Hi Jeanne!)  and I used my palette knife to scrape on some Coral Calypso Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. I love this mousse and this color in particular is absolutely gorgeous.

The stamped and die cut sentiments come from a Hero Arts stamp & die set titled Prayers. I love the font and there are so many great sentiments to build and add upon.  You get both the stamp set and the die together. I die cut 3 of the prayers word and glued them together for added dimension.

On the inside of my card, I stamped another sentiment from the Prayers set. I then added some sparkling clear sequins and the card is finished.

Welcome friends. I appreciate you stopping by today. I am sharing a fun Christmas card for a coffee lover for TupeloDesignsLLC.

I started by stamping the cup image from Hero Arts Color Layering Coffee Cup Tags set in Lawn Fawn Red Lobster ink. I then die cut some of the other pieces to finish off the cup. For the whip cream, I die cut it twice, once with white card stock and once with vellum. You can't tell in the photo but I added some glitter with a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen.

I added some patterned paper from Lawn Fawn onto my card base. I then die cut the Rounded Rectangle Band Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti to use as a backdrop for my coffee cup. Once that was adhered to my patterned paper, I added the coffee cup with foam tape. Some sparkling clear sequins finish off the card.

I'll also be entering this card into the  2016 Winter Coffee Lovers blog hop.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC -- Pineapple Love

Tuesday, August 23, 2016

Welcome friends -- I hope your week is off to a fabulous start. I'm back today with TupeloDesignsLLC and I have two cards to share with you using the ever so fabulous Color Layering Pineapple set from Hero Arts.

Before we get to the cards, just a reminder that TupeloDesignsLLC offers FREE shipping in the US with no minimum order required.

For my first card, I used the set and stamped my pineapple repeatedly over my card front. I love that there are different options for both the body of the pineapple as well as the top green part.

When my stamping was done, I heat embossed the sentiment which also is in the stamp set and added it to my card.

For my second card, I just stamped one of the pineapples and this time, used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I added it to a background I had stamped with a wood grain background image and then I also added some of the flowers that can be found in the Color Layering Pineapple set. The sentiment on this card can also be found in the stamp set.  The pineapple and card front are both popped up with foam tape for just a bit of dimension.

I'm so happy you decided to visit today. And if you leave a comment, an extra thank you!

TupeloDesigsLLC DT Project -- Having fun with the Mini Minc

Click here to enter my 1500 blog post giveaway for your chance to win a $15 gift certificate.

Welcome back friends. I hope you had a good weekend and that your week is off to a good start. I am back sharing another card today as a guest designer for TupeloDesignsLLC.

I started by foiling some patterned paper with my Heidi Swapp Mini Minc machine using some gorgeous pink foil. I don't believe these papers are available any longer but you can foil anything that has toner on it. It was hard for me to capture the beauty of the foiled paper in my photo but if you look in the top right corner, you get a better feel for what it really looks like -- it's a gorgeous pink color.

After I had foiled the paper, I got to work stamping my flamingo from the gorgeous Color Layering Flamingo set from Hero Arts. I love all the depth you can achieve with this image with just a few ink colors. I then lined up the coordinating die cut and easily cut the flamingo out -- don't you just love how the die also cuts in between the legs up top?  I then heat embossed the sentiment, also from the same stamp set. After I attached the sentiment strip, I popped up my flamingo on some foam tape for added dimension.
