DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, March 21, 2017

Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today using some Concord & 9th goodies available at TupeloDesignsLLC.

For my first card, I started by die cutting my panel with the Pretty Petals die collection. I then lined up the large flower image from the Pretty Petals stamp set over my die cut piece getting it lined up - this was really easy to do. I then removed the die cut panel and stamped the image onto my card base. After the base layer was stamped, I went in and stamped the detail layers.

I stamped the sentiment which is from a different Concord & 9th stamp set called Butterfly BeautyI then added lots of foam tape to my die cut panel and popped it up over the stamped card base.

For my second card, I blended on some Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink onto a card panel concentrating the darker color towards the top. After I was happy with my blending, I spritzed the panel with some water from my Distress Sprayer. You can't tell in the photo but I also spritzed the panel with some Perfect Pearls mist. After everything was dry, I die cut it using the Pretty Petals die collection.  I used the same Butterfly Beauty stamp set again for the sentiment. I finished off the card by adding a few drops of the Tonic Studios Morning Dew Crystal Drops. They are clear but take on the color that's behind them - just beautiful I think.

Thanks so much for visiting today. Crafty hugs!

Clearly Whimsy Stamps February Release Day #3

Friday, February 10, 2017

Welcome friends. If you are looking for my card for the newest CAS-ual Fridays challenge, click here or scroll down.

It's the final day of the February release for Whimsy Stamps and today, I am using the beautiful Friendly Flowers stamp set.   I started by taking several of the images and stamping them in black ink onto a card panel that I had die cut with the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles dies.  After my flowers were stamped, I stamped the sentiment from the same set. I added foam tape to the back of this and then added a piece of black card stock as a mat onto my card base. For the card base, I am using some linen card stock. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the bit of subtle texture that it adds.

Thanks for stopping by. Crafty hugs!

A Butterfly Note card for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Welcome friends and thank you so much for stopping by today. I have a real CAS card to share with you today for Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

I am using the newly released and ever so gorgeous Flight of the Butterflies stamp set.  I did a bit of measuring and then with the help of my Misti, got set to stamping my butterflies in rainbow colors.  You can't tell in the photo but each butterfly did get a coat of some clear Wink of Stella.

I decided to finish off the inside of the card. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and then stamped the same butterfly in a few colors.

Even though this card is super simple, I absolutely love it. I love the simplicity of it. I love the colors. I love that it will be super flat for mailing.

A big thank you to each of you for taking time to come visit me today. I hope you are having a great week. Crafty hugs!

Thinking of you for Frantic Stamper

Monday, November 21, 2016

Hi friends. For today's card, I am using some fun dies from Frantic Stamper. I started out by die cutting several of the trees from the Lollipop Trees die collection in a couple colors of green card stock and some brown for the trunks.

I also die cut the Stitched Grassy Hills Edgers dies from the same colors of green card stock. I love the stitched detail that these dies have along with all the individual blades of glass above the detail.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Crafty hugs!

Stitched Daisies for Frantic Stamper

Thursday, July 28, 2016

I have another card to share using some goodies from Frantic Stamper. I started by taking my card panel and running it through my Big Shot multiple times using the Stitched Daisy Pair dies.

I then added lots of small pieces of foam tape to that panel and then added it to my card base. I just love the look of this card with the stitching details, the dimension and the multiple cut outs of the daisy.

A sentiment and some gold enamel dots finish off the card. I'll be back here tomorrow -- hope to see you back again.

Thinking of you Today and Always for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, April 20, 2016

Welcome friends. My card today is for Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I'm using the recently released Spring Wreath stamp set and coordinating dies. I should note that on this card, I took a circle punch and punched out the inside of the wreath. I can't get enough of the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles and die cut my patterned paper with the largest die which is A2 size.

My wreath is popped up on some foam tape for dimension and that's all there is to it.  Thanks so much for your visit.

Here are close-ups of the Clearly Whimsy products I used.

April Release Day #3 for Clearly Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, April 13, 2016

It's Day 3 of release week for Clearly Whimsy Stamps. Today, we are showcasing the Spring Wreath set and matching dies.

I stamped my wreath with various inks and then used the coordinating dies to cut it out and the bow. I then stamped my sentiment from the Spring Wreath set. I popped this panel up on some foam tape and then added it to my card base that I had stamped using the Basic Backgrounds & Borders set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure to come back tomorrow for Day 4.  And make sure to head over to the Whimsy blog for your chance to win some great prizes -- you have 9 chances to win.

Thinking of You Dear Friend

Monday, November 16, 2015

Today's card features the gorgeous Garden Flourish background stamp from MFT. I used my MISTI to ink up just portions of it at a time. In total, I used 3 different ink colors.

I also did something I haven't done in ages -- make a side folding card. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today friends and for all your nice comments about my new blog look.

Thinking of You

Tuesday, October 20, 2015

Hi friends. My card today is super CAS. I had originally just inked up the center portion of the card panel as I wanted some white space around it -- however, I ended up getting the blue ink on one of the sides so I decided just to blend the distress ink into the entire card panel.

Thanks for stopping by. Crafty hugs!
