CFC167 - Color Challenge

Thursday, February 9, 2017

Happy Friday friends - TGIF! It's time for a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays and this time, we have a fun color challenge for you -- use red, pink and white.

I decided to go ahead and make a Christmas card. I love using pink on my Christmas cards for an unexpected color. For my card, I first started by using my Misti and inking up the super fun Curtis Background image several times. I used three different ink colors and made sure to overlap them just a bit for a smoother blend.  After that panel was done, I took the Tag Buddies dies and did my stamping. The sentiment is from a retired set.

I hope you'll pop on over to the challenge blog here to play along this week for your chance to win up to $50 to spend at CAS-ual Fridays.

Wow, this is an awesome card. What a fun and unique background image. I adore the ombre color blend. It's fantastic! The pink on the tag, with the red ink looks fabulous and the sentiment is so pretty. Excellent work! :) Hugs!

How eye-catching is that background; how delightful your pretty tag. Red and pink: a combination I need to use more often, especially if the results will be as marvelous as yours! Another WOW!
