Dog Sympathy Card for Whimsy Stamps

Hi friends. I'm back today with a card for Whimsy Stamps. Over the last few months, Whimsy has released a few stamp sets for pet sympathy and they've come in so handy this year. Unfortunately, I've needed a few of these types of cards.

For my CAS card today, I started by stamping the paw print image from Furever in Our Hearts onto my card panel. I then stamped the dog image and the sentiment from Irreplaceable Friend onto a panel die cut with one of the dies from the Hand Stitched Rectangles. I popped this up with foam tape, rounded the bottom two corners and this card is complete.

Whimsy Stamps June Release Day #2

Happy Thursday friends. I'm back today with another card for the June Whimsy Stamps release and for today's card, I am using the gorgeous Paws to Remember stamp set.

I stamped the large tree image and the cat silhouette onto some light blue patterned paper. I then added a grassy hill.

On the inside, I stamped more sentiments. Each line here on my card is a different sentiment so you can really customize your card the way you need.

Whimsy Stamps May Release Day #2

Welcome back friends to Day 2 of the May Whimsy Stamps release. I am featuring the wonderful Rainbow Bridge set today which is a fabulous set for when someone suffers the loss of their beloved fur baby. Back to my card - I started by taking the fun heart paw print image and stamped it repeatedly across my panel in rainbow order. I made sure to leave room for the sentiment which is also included in the set. I love that you can personalize the sentiment with either All cats or All dogs.

April Whimsy Stamps Release Day #2

I'm so happy you are joining me today for Day 2 of the April Whimsy Stamps release. Today, I am featuring the beautiful Deepest Sympathy set. Sympathy cards are never any fun to make but having a nice set is sure important in your crafting stash for the when the need does arrive.

I started by doing some ink blending with some Wilted Violet distress ink onto my panel concentrating the color towards the top. I then took my distress sprayer and added some water droplets.  I then took Whimsy's Butterflies Stencil and blended on the same Wilted Violet ink, Lastly, I stamped the sentiments onto the card and added some clear droplets.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

Hi friends. I have a card to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. If you haven't shopped there yet, it's a great store and they offer FREE shipping in the US with no minimum purchase.

For today's card, I started out by taking an Echo Park stencil that I received from a dear friend (Hi Jeanne!)  and I used my palette knife to scrape on some Coral Calypso Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. I love this mousse and this color in particular is absolutely gorgeous.

The stamped and die cut sentiments come from a Hero Arts stamp & die set titled Prayers. I love the font and there are so many great sentiments to build and add upon.  You get both the stamp set and the die together. I die cut 3 of the prayers word and glued them together for added dimension.

On the inside of my card, I stamped another sentiment from the Prayers set. I then added some sparkling clear sequins and the card is finished.

CFC169 -- Off the Edge

Happy Friday friends. I'm so happy you are joining me today. Today kicks off the newest challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. This time, the challenge is "off the edge" - have an element hanging off of your card or project.

I decided to do some stenciling with some embossing paste for my background. I then die cut the Casual Trees dies with some vellum. I stamped the sentiment from the Casual Comfort stamp set.  I layered everything together and popped up my sentiment with some foam tape. 

I did trim my card panel down just a bit so that the card would still fit inside a regular A2 size envelope even with the vellum flower pieces hanging off the edge.

DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC

Happy Tuesday friends. I have two cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. Both use the gorgeous Etched Flower background set from MFT.

For my first card, I heat embossed the Etched Flower set with some rose gold embossing powder. I then die cut this panel using the largest die from Lawn Fawn's Large Dotted Stitched Rectangle dies. I then heat embossed my sentiment which comes from MFT's Deepest Sympathy set. I added it with foam tape. 

For my second card, I first started by taking some Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks and smooshed them onto some acetate. I then took my acetate piece and transferred the ink to my card panel. I did this about three different times. After it was dry, I stamped the panel with the Etched Flower set using Versafine Black Onxy Ink.

I then stamped and die cut the sentiment using Reverse Confetti's Whole Lotta Thanks set and coordinating dies. Some matte enamel dots finish off the card.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC Featuring MFT Products

Welcome back to my blog friends. I have a CAS card to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC featuring some new products from MFT. Their designs get me every single month.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Deepest Sympathy stamp set with some grey ink. I then took that panel and ran it through my Big Shot using the Roses in Bloom die. I then added adhesive to some grey card stock to cover all of it. I then laid my main card panel down and now, there was adhesive exposed for me to fit back together all the pieces of the rose die.

I added some sequins and this card was finished.

You are in my Prayers with Mint Owl Studio

I needed a sympathy card awhile back and didn't have much time. So this one layer CAS card was born. I used the gorgeous Thoughts & Prayers stamp set from Mint Owl Studio for my card. I love the sentiments in the set. I added some score lines on two of the corners along with a rounded corner. 

What I need to do is make several of these to have on hand so that when I do need a sympathy card, I am not late on sending one.

Praying for You

I didn't need a sympathy card, thankfully, but thought I would make one to have on hand for when I do. I started by taking my patterned paper and die cutting it with the fabulous cross stitch die from Mama Elephant. I then die cut my floral leaf with some vellum. 

I added some sparkling clear sequins as embellishments and they also do double duty in helping the vellum piece attach just a bit as I was able to hide some adhesive underneath the sequins.
