Thank you with Mama Elephant

Welcome friends. The card I'm sharing with you today is one I ended up making 70 of for an order from my children's schools Foundation. I knew they had to be somewhat simple so this is what I came up with. It was quite the project but I was glad to help out. I'm also glad it's done. :)

For the cards, I first started by doing some ink blending with a couple shades of blue distress inks. I then spritzed the panel with some water to give the awesome texture. I stamped the tulips and sentiment and then die cut the panel with some stitched rectangle dies.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC - and Mama Elephant

Welcome friends. I am so excited to share today's card with you for TupeloDesignsLLC and to announce that TupeloDesignsLLC is now carrying Mama Elephant. Click here to see the current offerings from this awesome brand. 

For my card, I started by doing some ink smooshing onto some Tim Holtz water color card stock. I used Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon distress inks.  After my ink was dry, I spritzed the entire card panel with some clear shimmer from my stash. You can't see it in the photo but in real life, it is absolutely stunning. Once the shimmer was dry, I then stamped both the large and supporting sentiment from Mama Elephant's Hello Friend Wishes stamp set.  I adore the font of this large scripty sentiment and how it fills an entire card panel.

I added black fun foam to the back of my card panel and adhered it to some black card stock. Some clear sequins and the card is complete.

Hello Friend

I busted out some bright distress inks for today's card. I first started by blending the inks from one corner to the other. I then added some water droplets to the panel and after it was dried, stamped it with the super fun sentiment from Altenew. I die cut the front panel with a die from Mama Elephant and then attached it to the card base for this super simple card.

All Tricks, No Treats

Happy Halloween friends. I have a real CAS card today featuring this super cute stamp set from Mama Elephant. I first started by inking my background and then spritzing the whole panel with water to get the colors moving. I then stamped my images and sentiment at one time using my MISTI.

For today's card, I have a Christmas card with non-traditional colors. I thought that these colors would look really nice together so I blended my distress inks onto some smooth water color card stock. I then flung some water droplets over the panel. 

When it was dry, I then stamped the gorgeous snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes set. I then added the new Merry word die and then stamped the other portion of the sentiment from the Scandi Christmas set which was released last year.

I have to tell you that I'm even more in love with how this turned out and want to make another card using this same color combo.
