DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

Hi friends.I'm so glad you stopped by today for a visit. My card today is for TupeloDesignsLLC and I'm using a fun Concord & 9th stamp set and the ever so fabulous Distress Oxide inks.

I started by smooshing several of the Distress Oxide inks onto my craft mat and then I spritzed them with water. I then picked the ink up with my card panel. I did this several times making sure to dry the layers in between.  I love this fun effect and how there are so many great looks you can achieve with these inks.

After my panel was dry, I stamped the gorgeous floral heart image from the You are Here stamp set. I finished off the card with the hello sentiment and some clear drops.

Happy Saturday friends. Thanks for stopping by today. I have 3 cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. They all use the beautiful Medallion Flower Builder stamp set from Neat & Tangled.

For my first card, I did some blending with my Distress Oxide inks. I used Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet and Cracked Pistachio.  I just love the background I was able to create.  I then arranged several of the images from the Medallion Flower Builder stamp set all onto my Misti at one time. I stamped them with a nice crisp black ink. Then sentiment is from that same stamp set. I then added some Nuvo drops as a final embellishemnt. They do match the card base a bit better than they are showing up in the photo.

For my second card, I left the images where they were in my Misti and this time, did a bit of heat embossing in white. I then flipped my card around so I could stamp the other corner. I then did a bit of ink blending, this time with just some regular Distress inks in Chipped Sapphire, Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean.

I stamped and die cut my sentiment from a Neat and Tangled set called Painted Hello. I decided that my panel would look better with some shimmer spray. Unfortunately, it made the ink move a bit strangely so I'm not completely loving how it looks now but that's okay. It's still a handmade card and one that I will be proud to send to a friend.

For my last card, I heat embossed those same images again. This time, I just used some Twisted Citron Distress ink and blended it so it would fade to light towards the bottom. One my panel was done, I die cut it with the large die from the Blueprints 31 die set from MFT. I added it with some foam tape and then added some Apple Green Nuvo drops to finish off the card.

DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC - 3 cards with Concord & 9th

Happy Saturday friends. I had to pull out Concord & 9th's Butterfly Beauty set again and I have three cards to share with you today using that set for TupeloDesignsLLC. If you didn't see the first card I made with it, click here.

For my first card, I started by doing some ink blending with some Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks. I used my Clarity Brushes to do this. I then added some water droplets to my card. I then stamped the various layers of the butterfly from the Butterfly Beauty set three times onto my card.  I cut down my panel a bit, added some MFT Black & White paper pack onto the side of the card base and then added my focal panel with some foam tape. Lastly, I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

My next two cards are the same except for the colors I used. For both cards, I played around with my new Distress Oxide inks.  For this card, I used Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint and Fossilized Amber. I applied the ink pads directly to my card panel for lots of color. I then sprayed the panel with lots of water to blend the colors a bit. I dried it with my heat gun and then spritzed some water droplets onto the panel using my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer.

I then stamped the butterfly and the sentiment from the Butterfly Beauty set and added some Honey Gold Nuvo Drops.

For my last card, I used Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber. The rest of the was made using the same instructions above.
