2 more Penguin Cards with Funky Frames

Monday, November 23, 2020

Hello friends and happy Monday. Since I had the Penguin Poop and Funky Frames dies from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps both on my desk still from my last card, I decided to give them a bit more love and have two cards to share with you today.

For my first card, I stamped, colored and cut out two of the penguin images. I die cut one of the frames from this woodgrain card stock. I cut one of the patterned papers from the Blurry Flurries collection and added it to a top folding grey card base leaving a small border.

SIDE NOTE: If you don't yet own the Blurry Flurries paper collection, it is simply to die for. There are so many great patterns - perfect for winter crafting.

I then attached one of the penguins upside down and added the frame with some foam tape on top of it. I then added my other penguin directly onto the frame. I did stamp the frame with one of the sentiments from the Penguin Poop stamp set. I finished off the card by adding 3 snowflake embellishments from my stash and then added in a small blue pearl into the center of each of them.

For my second card, I created a slimline card by starting with a 7 by 8.5 inch piece of white card stock which I then scored at 3.5 inches. I colored up more of the cute penguins and cut them out. I die cut 2 of the frames from the Funky Frames die collection from the same woodgrain card stock I used for my first card.

I stamped another sentiment from the Penguin Poop onto one of my frames and then adhered everything. The outer two penguins are popped up with foam tape and everything else is flat.

Alrighty then, there you have it. 2 more fun cards featuring the Penguin Poop and Funky Frames die collection - both from Whimsy Stamps. I hope you've enjoyed. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

SO fun, Alanna! The expressions are just hysterical. Add that terrific paper on the first card and you've got a real winner. The slimline card is equally neat. Upside down goofy penguins for the win! Thanks for sharing, Alanna. Hope you have a wonderful holiday week. Hugs!
