Celebrate with a new Whimsy Stamps Release

Tuesday, December 1, 2020

Hello friends! I'm so happy you joined me today. Whimsy Stamps has its last mini release of the year and this one is SO good. There are yetis, ostriches, dragons, a new slimline die and more! Everything is shown and linked below.
For my card today, I am featuring the new Birfday Party Dragons set. If you love illustrator Dustin Pike's lineup of dragons, you will love this fun set. This little cutie is ready to party.

I started by die cutting one of the dies from the Slimline Bunting Borders die collection a couple of times. I added the banners onto a top folding white card base.

I then stamped, colored and cut out the dragon image from the Birfday Party Dragons set. I die cut a circle from black card stock using one of the dies from the Pierced & Stitched Circle dies. I stamped my sentiment which is from the same Birfday Party Dragons stamp set and then added my black circle to the card base and then popped up my dragon with foam tape.  Rounded corners on the bottom finish off this fun card.

Here is some inspiration from the rest of the Whimsy Stamps Creative Team.

I appreciate you so much and hope you have a wonderful day. I will be back here later today with another post for a fun collaboration blog hop and back later this week with more inspiration using this great new release. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

So fun! This card looks great and the name of it reminds me of how my kiddos said birthday when they were growing up. Big smiles. :)
