LDRS Release Day 2

Thank you for joining us on our LDRS Creative inspiration week blog hop!

In this release, we are introducing some adorable critters to be used all-year round, a few fabulously feminine images and  There are lots of gorgeous projects using products from our new release. You can even see them in action with step-by-step projects by our amazing designers on their blogs and our own LDRS Creative Youtube channel (make sure you subscribe)!

First, we have a brand new clear stamp set perfect for the weather called Puddle Jumper Stamps. Not only is it related to the weather, but it is perfect for any sharing kindness and well wishes projects, because we all deserve a bit of rainbow in our lives!

For my first card, I started by stamping a few of the images from the Nuts About You stamp set to create a little scene.

I love the log in the set and how you can add so many things on top of it. I can't wait to incorporate it into some cards with other stamps in my stash. I did some simple coloring with my alcohol markers.

For my card base, I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the Sweet Sensations paper collection and matted it on top of a piece of brown card stock to help draw in the colors of the log.

I added my stamped and colored focal panel on top with some foam tape for added dimension.  some fun bronze pearls finish off the card.

For my second card, I am using the adorable Holly - Just Breezin' By set. I absolutely love Holly and this little image of her carrying a nest full of birds is just too cute.

I first used the Rainy Day stencil to sponge on some light blue ink for a cloudy background.  I then used the Coming up Daisies stencil to add a couple layers of grass to ground Miss Holly.

I stamped sweet little Holly and I love that the butterfly images that are part of the image match the separate butterfly images that are also in the set.  I stamped the individual butterfly along with the trio of butterflies, making sure that some of them went off the page.

I did quick and easy coloring on my butterflies, stamped the sentiment and then called this card good.

TIP - you don't always have to color all of the images and you can still have a sweet card.
