Whimsy Stamps June Release Day 1

Saturday, June 1, 2019

Happy June 1st friends! I can't believe we are nearly 1/2 way through this year. But since it's the first of a new month, that means only one thing - there's a brand new release at Whimsy Stamps and let me tell you, it's a good one.

I have one card to share with you today but I will be back the next two days showcasing some more of the new goodies.

For my first card, I started by taking some Distress Oxide inks in Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold and Spiced Marmalade to blend in a sunset scene.

I then die cut the palm tree image from the new Build an Island die set to create a silhouette look. I love how the bottom of this particular die doesn't cut so you can make it any height you want to. All you need to do is trim the sides just a bit.

A simple stamped sentiment from the Polka Dot Fun using the fabulous VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink pad set finishes off this card.

Anyone else have a hankering now to go to a nice tropical island? :)

Beautiful blends and silhouette, Alanna! I can almost hear the calypso beat! :)
