May the Bounty for LDRS Creative

Tuesday, October 30, 2018

Good morning friends. My card share today features some of August's newest release goodies from LDRS Creative. I am using the Fall Full O Leaves stamp set, the Happy Fall Sentiments and several colors of LDRS Creative's awesome hybrid ink colors (listed below).
I started by placing one of the solid leaf images onto my stamp positioner in the corner. I stamped it and then rotated my paper so I could get the exact placement in the opposite corner. I did this with all 3 of the leaves.
I then did the same thing with the 3 detailed leaf images from the Fall Full O Leaves set. I lined them up over top of the solid layer and stamped in a darker ink. I love how each of the detail layers have a slightly different design.
{HINT} - make sure your first layer of ink is dry. You'll get a better impression when you go to stamp the detail layer.
Here's the rundown of the Hybrid ink colors I used today. Dan-D-Lion paired with In Your Face Orange, Key Lime Pie paired with Olive Branch, and Iced Tea paired with Coffee Bean.
And if you want to give these inks a try but don't have a lot of space or are budget conscious, 5 of the 6 colors I used today are available in the new mini ink cubes!
Here is a closeup of my leaves and the fun gold splatter. Don't you just love all the texture on the leaves with the awesome detailed layering images?
After my leaves were all done, I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the gorgeous Happy Fall Sentiments set with gold embossing powder.
Lastly, I added some gold sparkle with a couple colors of gold water color. I just flicked my paintbrush with a bit of watercolor on it over top my card. I finished it off by adding my card panel over top of some gold foil card stock to help bring out the gold embossed sentiment and the rich fall colors.

BEAUTIFUL!! It's a great stamp set and I love the way you gave us advice about letting the first layer dry before stamping the detail layer. The sentiment is nice - a Perfect card!

Fabulous card. I do think all the detail on the leaves looks fantastic. Great tip about being sure the ink is dry for the next layer. I really like the sentiment. It looks so pretty in gold. Wonderful work!
