Whimsy Stamps November Release Day 5

Sunday, November 5, 2017

Hi friends and thanks for stopping by today. I have two cards to share with you using a new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps that is November's free CAS stamp set that can be earned for FREE starting on November 7th with a qualifying $75 purchase called Holiday Occasions.

For my first card, I stamped my sentiment first and then stamped the leaf image several times. I added just a bit of Copic coloring in some fall colors. I added the panel to a kraft card base and then splattered my card with some gold paint flecks.

My second card has a completely different feel to it yet uses the same stamp set.

I stamped the fun Love image several times in grey and pink inks. I added the stitching detail on either side of the panel using the one of the dies from the Hand Stitched Borders die collection. The sentiment is from the Everyday Mini Sentiments stamp set. I finished off the card by adding some pink twine and then popping up the panel with foam tape onto my pink card base.

Thanks so much for visiting today. I'll be back here soon.

The first card has such a fantastic fall feel with the leaves falling down. And I like the stark contrast to the second card, which has a lovely light and airy feel. Great job, Alanna showcasing the set! :) Hugs!

The autumn leaves leave me smitten and needing to re-create this card! I love that the splatters are gold - a perfect color to highlight the beauty of autumn! Excellent card! The second card is pretty neat too, and together they show off that stamp set beautifully!
