DT Projects for TupeloDesignsLLC

Thursday, February 2, 2017

Welcome friends. I have two cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. Both use the beautiful background image from MFT called Floral Fantasy.

For my first card, I heat embossed the image. I then blended on some Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks. I then die cut the gorgeous Roses in Bloom die cut from MFT twice. I adhered it to my card panel and then die cut the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Scripty Hugs. I die cut it once with some black card stock and once with some black fun foam for lots of added dimension.

For my second card, I heat embossed the Floral Fantasy image again, this time with some Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold embossing powder. I embossed it onto some navy card stock. I then added some more of the same black fun foam I used on the first card onto my embossed card panel. I adhered this to a card base using the same navy card stock.

I then heat embossed my sentiment which is from Altenew's Painted Encouragement stamp set with the same gold embossing powder.

I did want to mention that this card was inspired by the beautiful cards from Yana here. I fell in love with the gold and navy together.

Remember that TupeloDesignsLLC offers FREE shipping in the US with no minimum purchase. And all orders earn rewards points.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you'll be back soon. Crafty hugs!

What gorgeous cards - amazing what difference you can get with the same stamp set, just with different colours. It looks stunning in the gold, but I'm a softy for some pastel shades and a big bold sentiment. Gorgeous. xx

You know how much I love your ink blending, Alanna. That first card is so pretty in pastels, but oh my word, the stunning beauty of the second one is so striking! Wow, it's hard to believe those cards use the same stamp. What amazing and different looks you can achieve. Wow! Thanks so much for sharing...and inspiring! Hugs!

You've certainly created a dynamic duo of floral fantasies Alanna! Love the colour combination of the first; lovely canvas for the die cut flower and hugs. As for the second...navy and gold are sheer class and elegance! Stunning!
