Welcome friends. I have a fun rainbow card to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. But before we get down to today's card, I want to let you know about the Groundhog's Day sale over at the store going on right now through February 6th. Save 15% off your entire order using the code 15GROUNDH2017. Click here to get shopping.
I first started out by heat embossing, using this powder and this gun, the Bundles of Blossom background stamp from MFT. It looks like this is sold out but the Floral Fantasy Background set, also from MFT, would work just the same. then got out several colors of Distress Inks and got to work. I used Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac, and Wilted Violet . For each color, I added some post it tape above and below to mask off my area. I did try to overlap each area just a bit for a better blend.
When my inking was all done, I took a dry cloth and wiped my background clean to remove any residual ink that was on top of the stamping. I then die cut the sentiment from MFT's Kind & Kindness Die-namics. The supporting sentiment comes from MFT's Kind Words. Some sequins and a black mat finish off the card.
As always, I thank you so much for visiting. Make sure to pop over to TupeloDesignsLLC to see all the new products that are available from CHA for pre-order. Dan has the store stocked full of yummy crafty goodness. Crafty hugs!

This is a great card! I think rainbow is always pretty - but the symbolism of it right now is great too! and the word "Kind" fits right in with how we need to behave. I am inspired, Alanna. Thank you!
So pretty, Alanna. Wonderful embossed background that gets shown off so nicely with the inks. Love that sentiment, too. Exemplies YOU! Excellent work! Hugs!
Yet again, your magic with ink has me marveling! Rainbow delight here! As for that sentiment: reflecting it back to YOU!
Hugs~carol
