DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC -- I Miss You with Concord & 9th

Saturday, October 29, 2016

Hey friends - I'm back today with another card for TupeloDesignsLLC. I'm using two sets from Concord & 9th today. I couldn't help myself but use the Lace Leaf set and matching dies again. Click here in case you missed my post a few weeks ago where I made two cards using this fabulous set.

I started by heat embossing the large leaf image with white embossing powder. Don't you just love the detail in this stamp? And it embossed so beautifully. I then turned the vellum over and scribbled on a couple different colors of Copics, one orange and one red to add some color to my leaf. I love the subtle look it gives as the color peeks through the embossed vellum image.

I then took the coordinating dies and cut the leaf images out. I then heat embossed the sentiment from the Map Love stamp set, also from Concord & 9th with the same white embossing powder. I embossed it on some patterned paper from Lawn Fawn. I adhered my leaves with just a bit of adhesive so that they still have some movement, added a small bow and some gold sequins and the card is finished.

Have you shopped yet at TupeloDesignsLLC? They are one of my most favorite places to shop at as they ship within 1 or 2 days and shipping is FREE in the US with no minimum order.

Gorgeous card, Alanna! I adore the look of coloring on the backside of vellum. Those fall colors look so nice peeking out of that beautiful embossed leaf. Wow! Thanks so much for sharing. I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Hugs!
