Happy Birthday with MFT -- 2 Cards

Thursday, October 27, 2016

Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today. For my first card, I started by spreading some of the Silver Glitter Paste from Bo Bunny over a stencil. After it was dry, I die cut the panel with the a die from MFT. I adhered this over a piece of black card stock. Some twine finishes off the card.

And because I didn't want the positive pieces of my alphabet from the other card to go to waste, I made a bonus card. I started by die cutting some black card stock with the Wonky Stitches die from Avery Elle. I then glued my letters onto the card panel. To assist with perfect placement, I die cut the die again and used the negative space to help me line up my letters. After these were in place, I then took some of the Metallic Silver Lining Nuvo Drops and added some on my card.

I'll also be entering these cards into the current anything goes challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog.

Both cards look spectacular, Alanna. I really like the first one. Using the glitter paste and the stencils is so clever and it looks amazing. The die cut sentiment looks so good with that black background, too. Smart lady to use the cut out letters on their own card! I think those Nuvo dots look fantastic, too. Thanks again for the heads up on those. Great work and Happy Friday!! Hugs!
