Just for You

Happy Friday friends. I hope you've had a good week. I'm not going to sugar coat it -- mine's been rough but I'm looking forward to the weekend. My baby turns 13 on Sunday so we will have some birthday festivities to attend to.  I can't believe I will have another teenager in the house.

I had so much fun making this card. I first started by heat embossing in white the abstract background stamp set from MFT. I then did some ink blending over it. My flower die cut is from an Essentials by Ellen die set and my sentiment is from my well loved Label Love set from Altenew.  I added some clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh and popped the entire card panel up on foam tape.

Gorgeous ink blending - love that facted panel. Bit of geometrics adds a lot of interest. Sorry you've had a rough week, but Happy Birthday to your 13 year old - a pivotal age! xx

Your ink blending looks fantastic, Alanna. And that geometric stamp adds great interest and detail to the blending. I like your modern looking flower, too. Pretty clear droplets are fun, too. Happy Birthday to your son (if I'm remembering correctly). Yep, two teenagers is a lot of fun! Sorry to hear you had a rough week, hope over the weekend you can rejuvenate just a bit between birthday festivities! :) Hugs!

Alanna,

Your card is wonderful! I love the shadows cast by the clear droplets! That doesn't happen with a sequin!
Enjoy the birthday party - the teens pass quickly, also, and poof! one day they will both be living on their own!

Hugs!!
