Christmas Card Challenges Week #12 -- Anything Goes

Sunday, February 21, 2016

Hi friends. I am sharing a Christmas card today for the current anything goes challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. I am using stamps and dies from Clearly Whimsy Stamps. I started out by stamping one of the images from the Scandi Christmas set along the left side of my card panel. I used my Misti so I could stamp it several times in various shades of teal and aqua inks to get an ombre effect.

I then die cut the Large Christmas word die twice, one from white card stock which I then sponged on some aqua ink concentrating the ink heavier at the top. I also die cut it from some dark card stock to layer behind to provide a shadow look.  The stamped portion of the sentiment is from the Christmas Greetings set.

Thanks for visiting today friends. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Here's a better look at the products I used today from Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

You are so good getting your Christmas cards started so early. Gorgeous gorgeous design - I love the ombré Scandinavian pattern panel down the side. Beautifully put together. Xx

Beautiful card, Alanna! Your ombre effect is perfection! I like how you added the teal to the sentiment as well and added the black. This is a definite winner in my book. Wow! Hugs!
