The Challenge, Week 3

Monday, September 21, 2015

It's time for another challenge from The Challenge blog where I am guest designing for this month. This week, there is a gorgeous inspiration photo to jump start your creativity. I was drawn to the pinks and grays in the photo.

I started by inking up a background panel with several shades of grays and blacks using my Distress Inks on some Strathmore smooth water color card stock. Let me tell you, the inks blend so much easier on this paper. I am in LOVE with it and how easy it is. I then die cut that with the Stripe cover-up die from MFT. I then die cut that from white card stock a few more times and glued the pieces all together. I added a messy thread nest and glued my hello die cut over it.

I bought some of this paper, found a great deal, but wasn't sure what to do with it. Going to have to give this a try. You make CAS look so easy. Love the card.
