showCASe your style Challenge #18

Saturday, June 27, 2015

There is a new challenge at the showCASe your style challenge blog and this time, there is a gorgeous color combo for you to use featuring some grays and blues.  I first started off by stamping one of the images from the Basic Backgrounds & Borders 2 set from Clearly Whimsy Stamps repeatedly in four different colors of ink. I used my MISTI to help me stamp repeatedly and to get a good impression.

I then took the Happy Everything stamp set and stamped my sentiment on another die cut frame. I then made my own stitched frame by using two different stitched rectangle dies, lining them up and running them together in my Cuttlebug.  Finally, I added lots of various sequins in coordinating colors from Pretty Pink Posh.

Here are the products I used from Clearly Whimsy Stamps, linked below.

Terrific card, Alanna. Great colors. The stamps you used are really neat. I like the use of the stitched rectangles, too. Excellent shaker! Those sequin colors look fabulous together. :) Happy Weekend to you!
