Merry Christmas

Sunday, May 24, 2015

I haven't made a Christmas card for quite some time now but I have one today for the current anything goes challenge at Christmas Card Challenges.  I'm not sure what my problem was -- I guess I just wasn't feeling it. But I decided I better get my act together or my friends and family won't be getting cards this year.

I started with this gorgeous background stamp from Impression Obsession. I inked it up in Fog ink from SSS using my Misti. I decided to try my hand at adding a tag to a card. I've seen this done many times but wasn't sure I could make it look okay. I will probably try it again.

I'm excited for the long weekend. Monday will be my first holiday since New Years. :)  If you have a long weekend as well, have fun. And if you don't, I hope you still have a fabulous weekend.

Gorgeous card Alanna and I love that soft fog background. Great idea to leave some of the infils on the sentiment - gives it such a stylish look!
Enjoy your day off.
