Welcome Baby

Tuesday, October 14, 2014

My card today features something that has been long neglected in my stamp room as of lately -- my Copic markers. I get so intimidated by them so I just leave them sit. But I really wanted to use this cute image for a couple of baby cards so I thought I'd bust them out and give coloring a try. I kept it real easy and just used three cool grays in the same blending family.

As always, thank you so much for spending part of your day with me.

Awww, this is just so sweet. I completely understand being nervous to use Copics. But, really, the blending you did on the elephants looks terrific. In the end, just take 'em out and play (if you can't, maybe take a class on them. I've heard there was an Online Card Class that is just finishing up on Copics/Coloring). Love this though!

Love your shading with the gray copics. Darling card with the patterned paper stripes.

This is adorable, and colored like a pro. Those elephants are one of my all time favorite baby card images. They are just so sweet, and look great with that striped paper.

Lovely card! I hear you about the Copics - something I'm hoping to carve out more time to use this fall/winter.
