Thank You

Friday, September 5, 2014

I made this card to give to my daughter's mother on the day we met a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to tell her thank you for raising such a wonderful girl, for taking such good care of her and for telling Hannah all along that she was adopted and that my daughter had another mother out there who loved her.

I originally was only going to stamp 3 flowers and then 5 and then it just grew into 9 stamped flowers, with some masking. I smeared part of the sentiment just a bit but made this the day we were leaving and had no time to redo.

I hope you are having a good Friday. Thanks for stopping by.

Absolutely beautiful, Alanna and so is the story behind the card. What a thoughtful gesture. I'm sure it was very well received. I like the colors you chose for the flowers and the fact that it looks like a big bunch of flowers. One can never have too many flowers. :) Have a wonderful weekend!

This is so pretty. I'm glad you kept going and put 9 flowers on the card. They are just gorgeous, and what a thoughtful thing to bring to your daughter's adoptive mother.
