There's a new anything goes challenge over at Christmas Card Challenges this week. Have you started your Christmas cards yet?
I used this gorgeous sleigh image from MFT's Inspired by Christmas. Some fun paper and a die cut sentiment from Paper Smooches finish off the card.
Tip: I cut my greeting from the center of the mat that my patterned paper is on. More bang for my card stock.
2nd tip: To adhere my thin die cut sentiment, I squirted some Multi Medium Matte onto my craft mat and then rubbed it around. With a bit of adhesive on my finger, I rubbed it against the die cut. I found this to be way easier and less messier than trying to adhere the adhesive directly to the die cut.

Very pretty, Alanna!
Beautiful! Great tips. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful card!
Stunning card...I love that sleigh!
Fabulous card--That sleigh image is so detailed, and your tips are great. I have done the first before, but never thought of the second.
Love this card! That chevron background looks awesome, and I love the style of the sentiment.
Love that background paper with the classic image and sentiment die cut! It's just right and so great for mailing!
What a lovely card Allana. I love the subtle colours with the pops of my favourite scarlet jewel for Christmas cards.
Great die cut words too!
Hugs

Hi Alanna, pretty card and a great tip about the adhesive for such a delicate die cut. I have tried running them through the Xyron sticker maker, but still often get bits of adhesive that make their way to the front of the die cut. I will certainly try your idea - maybe even today! Hugs!
Ps - no Christmas cards yet here. You are waaaayyyyy ahead.
So pretty Alanna! I love the monotone color scheme!!
That sleigh inside the stitched mat is just too amazing, Alanna! I love this card!! Hugs, Darnell
Beautiful card, thanks for the tips. Gail xx
