A polka dot Thank you

Friday, May 16, 2014

It's time for another anything goes challenge at Sister Act Card Challenge.  Click here to see who this week's sponsor is and to link up your anything goes cards.

My card is one that was inspired by Laura Bassen during the recent Online Card Classes class.  I masked off the outside edges of my card front using a die from Lawn Fawn and then sponged some Aqua Mist ink over the center. I then used the circle stamps from PTI's Beautiful Blooms 2 stamp set.

I discovered during making this card that I am really lacking on some big, bold and large sentiments. I wanted something that would take up a bit more of the masked area but had to settle for the thank you from a PTI set.

I hope you are having a great Friday.

What a great card, Alanna. Thanks for describing the technique, it looks terrific! I hear you about lacking bold sentiment stamps. That's me, too. But the one you chose looks good! I hope you have a great weekend. Looks to be a bit more weather friendlier. :)
