Grateful for You

I haven't had any chance to stamp in over a week so it felt so nice to sit down and play with some pretty stamps and paper.

I loved Deanna's card over at Muse this week and wanted to play along.  I took my inspiration from the flowers clustered up towards the top of her card.  Here is her card.
And here is mine.
So I mimicked the flowers in the paper with some stamps but now I'm wondering if it's too much, maybe a bit of overkill?  I also did something I've never done before --  I switched out my white thread in my sewing machine for the black.  I wanted it to pop a bit more.

I hope you all have a great Saturday.  We're off to Reynna's basketball tournament today.  Here's hoping for a big win!

I think the card is beautiful as is, Alanna. What pretty roses. How brave to switch out the thread color. I applaud you for stitching on your cards period, never mind changing colors! *Ü* Oooooh, good luck Reynna!!

Beautiful, Alanna! So luscious! Definitely not too much (and I'm a CAS girl), and the black thread is perfect. :-)
