2 simple cards for the CPS sketch

Friday, January 16, 2009

I made these two cards last night real quickly for this week's CPS 99 sketch which can be found here. I pulledo out CTMH's Serendipity paper packet and used that. Because the dp already has a lot going on, I decided that I would make a real simple card with not a whole lot of fuss. Once I made the first card, I just changed up my flowers a bit and made the second card in about 4 minutes. I thought about trying to add some embellishments somewhere to spruce these up a bit but then changed my mind as I decided I should try to have some cards on hand that are flat and easy to mail.

I'm happy to have my blog mostly back to the way it was before. I ended up getting some funky html code in one of my posts which screwed everything up. I want to put on a cute background from Cutest Background on the Block but it appears that they are having server problems and will be unavailable for a bit. So, for now, I'll settle for how my blog looks and am happy that everything is in the right place.

Does anyone have any big plans for the weekend? I'm getting my hair done tomorrow. That will be nice. Other than that, I'm sure it will be the norm for me. Laundry, studying, cleaning, football, and hopefully some time to scrap/stamp. See you later.
