Clearly Whimsy Stamps July Release Day #2

Welcome back to Day 2 of the July release for Clearly Whimsy Stamps. Today, the team is showcasing the Love is a Flower and Campers Road Trip sets. I am working with the beautiful Love is a Flower set, a gorgeous multi-step floral set (see full peek below my card).

I started by die cutting my card panel using one of the dies from the Card Builder Many Thanks die set, new for this month. I then stamped one of the floral images directly onto the card panel. The flower has 4 different layers that can be used and the stem has 3.  I stamped the stem and then stamped another flower on a different piece of card stock. Once it was complete, I fussy cut the image and added it to my card with a bit of foam tape.  I love the sentiments in the set and decided to make this a wedding card.

It's time for another anything goes challenge at Sister Act Card Challenge.  I've got a fun card today using some awesome Die-namics from MFT. I love the rectangle frame and the bride & groom. They make it so easy to create an awesome card.

Eat, Drink and Be Married

I wanted to make a wedding card to have on hand and thought a black, white and gold combination would be pretty and somewhat elegant. 

I picked up this sheet of gorgeous metallic vellum card stock from my LSS (linked below), which is at the left of my card. I impressed the die from MFT into my black card stock.

I'm going to enter this into the current anything goes challenge over at the Curtain Call.

On your Wedding Day

It's time for this week's challenge at Sister Act Card Challenge. Remember that it's always an anything goes challenge as long as you make a card.

I was in the mood to make a white on white card and thought a wedding card would be good for that.  The main panel is popped up with foam tape.

Wedding Bells for Unscripted Sketches

Well, another Saturday is upon us, which means Unscripted Sketches time. Yahoo!

I was working on some wedding invitations awhile back for my friend and while I had the supplies out, I thought I'd make her wedding card with the same materials that her invitations will be made of. Her colors are silver and hunter green. I'll have more on the invitations to come but I will tell you that she'd like 150 of them. YIKES. I better get my exam passed because I am going to need all the free time I can get to make these invitations. LOL.

Anyway, I got out some of my foil paper from CTMH and embossed it with a small cuttlebug embossing folder. Some ribbon underneath the focal point was added with a couple of matching brads in the corner. I wish you could see the texture of the silver swirly paper. It's embossed foil and it looks so pretty IRL.
