Whimsy Stamps New Release & 2 Foiled Cards

Thursday, November 2, 2023

Hi friends. I'm so sorry for my extended absence. Vacation and then being sick have made for very little crafting time lately. But I'm back today with a pair of cards created using the new A2 Holiday Sentiment Frames toner card fronts from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps.

For my cards, I started by taking the A2 Holiday Sentiment Frames toner card fronts and I foiled them with this foil. I love the varying shades of green in the foil and thought it would be perfect for these toner panels.

Once my panels were foiled, I added them directly to white A2 notecards. I then took two of the sentiments which are part of the A2 Holiday Sentiment Frames toner card fronts and foiled them using some gold sparkle foil. I die cut the sentiments using dies from the new Frame Labels die set. I matted the sentiment with a larger frame die that were cut from gold mirror card stock.

I also die cut one of the dies from the previously released Wild Weeds die set and for each card, die cut the image two times from vellum. I added them behind my sentiment and just placed adhesive behind where the sentiments were.

Here is some inspiration from the rest of the team.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Well, I hope your vacation was fun! Being sick is no fun. I hope you have back to 100%! These cards are beautiful. I know it's hard to catch the full effect of foiling so I am sure they are even more beautiful in person. Thanks so much for sharing!
