Hi friends and welcome back. I have a fun project to share with you today featuring the new April 2023 glimmer club kit from Spellbinders. This month's kit is fabulous as always and includes a leaf background glimmer plate, a fun sentiment, and some dies that will cut out some of the leaves. There is also an add-on stencil you can purchase that will color in the leaves, should you choose. I didn't use that for my card.
To get started, I took the leaf glimmer plate from the April 2023 club kit and foiled it with Viridian Green foil onto smooth white card stock. I then did this another time so I could have a full panel. I then took 3 shades of green Copic markers and colored in my leaves. I trimmed my panel down and then added some foam tape behind it and added it to a white A2 notecard.
While I had my glimmer machine still out, I also foiled the fun and punny sentiment, included in the club kit this month. I foiled it with the same green foil and then trimmed it down. I took the Leafy Sprigs die set and die cut the large leaf image two times for dimension. I also took the Sealed Leaf Sprigs die set and die cut one of the dies from it two times from some green glitter foam from Spellbinders.
I added these die cuts to my card and then added my sentiment over top. I finished off the card by adding in some clear gems.

Wow, this looks terrific. How fun to foil and then color in with Copics. Fun sentiment, too. Great job on this card, Alanna. :)
