Hi friends. I'm back with my second post today. Click here to see some fun winter themed cards from Spellbinders. My cards today feature the brand new Wild Weeds die set from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps that just hit the shop this past weekend.
For my backgrounds, I started by creating my own inky background using lots of Distress Oxide sprays and Distress Spray stains. I then die two of the leaf images from the Wild Weeds die set multiple times from card stock and then once from vellum and glued them together. I added ink to the top layer which was the vellum and then ran the stacked die cut through my cutting machine on top of my inked background to create the letterpress and debossed look.
I die cut the panels using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set and then added foam tape behind the panels and added them to my card bases. I then took my inky die cuts I used to create the letterpress look and added them to my cards.
I finished off the cards by adding in stamped sentiments which are from the Many Thanks stamp set.
I hope your week will be a good one! Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Ooooh, these are so pretty! Well done, Alanna. Hope you and Christopher enjoyed the game, overall. I didn't watch all of it, but enough to see it didn't go quite as planned for the Broncos. Maybe next week?
