Winter Hugs

Monday, September 12, 2022

Hello friends. I have a pair of cards to share with you today using the emboss resist technique and a fun background stamp from Spellbinders.

To get started, I heat embossed in white the new Pretty Pine Background stamp set onto two pieces of white card stock. I then added in various shades of green ink over top of the embossed backgrounds and then buffed away any ink that was sitting on top of the images. I trimmed my panels down and then added them to a piece of green card stock. These panels were added to white notecards, which are slightly smaller than A2 size.

I then took the new Tinsel Time Sentiments die set and die cut the shadow twice from the same green card stock I used above and then I cut the detail portion of the sentiment from white card stock. I love the font of these dies. I adhered my die cut sentiments and then finished off the cards with a few white pearls.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
