Spellbinders Gnome for Christmas Collection

Friday, September 9, 2022

Hi friends. I have a pair of cards made today using the Joyful Words stamp set from Spellbinders released this month. This is my second post today. Click here for my first post.

To get started for these cards, I took some water color card stock and created my own inky backgrounds using various colors of Distress Spray Stains and Distress Oxide Sprays, specific colors linked at the bottom of this post.

When I got the look I wanted, I dried the panels and trimmed them down. I then took the Joyful Words stamp set from Spellbinders and stamped it using my Misti onto the panels with black ink. I stamped it repeatedly to give the best image, knowing that some of it might not be fully crisp because of the Oxide sprays.

But in the end, I'm super happy with how they turned out and now have 2 more cards for my stash this year (assuming that I am able to get them mailed LOL)

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
