Happy Happy Birthday with an Ink Blended Background

Thursday, August 4, 2022

Hi friends. I have yet another card featuring products from the latest Boho release at Whimsy Stamps. For this card, I started by taking several of the dies from the Boho Basic Stitches die die set and I die cut them into the card stock. These dies don't actually cut anything but rather add texture and stitching to the paper.

I then took some Distress Oxide inks (colors linked below) and ink blended onto the panel with some purples and pinks. When this was done, I took this product and splattered it all over the panel. There is so much shine and you can even see it in the photo. :)

I then took the new Boho Alphabet set and stamped the Happy word two times with black ink. I took my scissors and trimmed the stamped words out and then added them to my card with foam tape.

I then took the Birthday Word and Shadow die set and die cut the detail word twice from white card stock. I also die cut one of the shadow layers twice from black card stock.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Pretty colors! I like the ombre you achieved. I'll bet it is super sparkly in person. :)
