Big Hugs

Wednesday, August 3, 2022

Hello friends! I have a fun card to share with you today using some hot foiling and my favorite Rainbow foil from Spellbinders. I started by taking the Giraffe hot foil plate from Whimsy Stamps and foiled it using the Rainbow foil. I die cut this panel using my favorite Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set and added it to a piece of black card stock, trimmed slightly larger. I added this to a white A2 notecard.

I then took the Big Hugs die set from Whimsy Stamps and die cut it three times - once from black card stock and twice from white card stock. I adhered the white die cuts together and then adhered the black die cut directly on the foiled panel. I then added the white die cuts, slightly offset, for a shadowed effect.

Have you gotten onto the hot foiling train? If you've been here for long, you know I absolutely love it. I hope you have a wonderful day and are doing well. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
