Hi friends. My card today features the Vintage Script Background set from Whimsy Stamps along with the Butterflies hot foil plates.
To get started, I took a piece of watercolor card stock and sprayed it with a few different Distress sprays. After it was dry, I then heat embossed the Vintage Script Background onto it with white embossing powder. I stamped it twice with my Versamark inkpad and must have shifted the stamp slightly as I got some double stamping. I decided I actually didn't mind the look of this and went with it. :)
I then die cut the panel using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set. I added it with foam tape to a white A2 notecard. I then die cut a circle of white card stock using the Pierced & Stitched Circle dies. When I ran it through my die cut machine, I still had some ink on my plate from the background panel so it added some very faint light blue "text".
I decided to go with it and that it just added a bit of dimension to this circle panel. I stamped the sentiment onto it which is from the new Sympathy Silhouette stamp set. I finished off the card by adding on a butterfly that I foiled using the new Butterflies hot foil plates.
Thanks as always for stopping by. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
