Hello friends. This is my second post for today. Click here or scroll down to see more crafty inspiration. I have 3 cards to share with you today featuring the amazing Paint Your World collection from Spellbinders.
For my first card, I started by creating an embossed background using the Splatter embossing folder. This folder is large enough to cover a 5x7 card, a slimline card or you can use it for a standard A2 sized card as I have.
I then took the Artful Brush die set and die cut three each of the brush, silver part, and the paint. For the paint die cuts, I die cut them from white card stock and then added Copic markers in rainbow order. I added my brushes to the card and then stamped the sentiment which is from the Paint Your World Sentiments set.
For my second card, I started by die cutting the paint brush which is from the Painted Blooms die set. It's a lot bigger in scale than the paint brush in the set I used for my first card. I die cut the bristles 5 times and glued them to the back of the brush. I adorned the card with a few flowers which are also included in the die set.
I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment, again from the Paint Your World Sentiments set and adding pearls to the flower centers.
For my last card, I used the new Painter's Palette die set. I die cut it from white woodgrain card stock and then die cut the paint blobs from white card stock. I then added Copic colors to them in shades of the rainbow. I stamped a sentiment from the Paint Your World Sentiments set and then promptly got a couple small dollops of black ink on my card. So out came the pearls. :)
I hope you have a wonderful day. Thanks for your visit and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
