One Stamp - 3 Ways

Friday, October 15, 2021

Hi friends and happy Friday. I have three cards to share with you today all using the awesome new Leaf Frame from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps.

For my first card, I started by creating my own background on water coloring paper using some various Distress Spray Stains and Distress Mica Stains.  After it was dry, I then stamped the frame from the Leaf Frame Rubber Cling Stamp and Die Combo with some brown ink. I trimmed my panel down and added it to a piece of gold mirror card stock which I added to a brown card base.

I then die cut the Big Hugs sentiment from the same gold mirror card stock two times and added it to my card.

For my second card, I stamped the Leaf Frame from the Leaf Frame Rubber Cling Stamp and Die Combo and then colored it in with my Copic markers. I then took the coordinating die that is included and die cut the frame out. I took the recently released Seasonal Trees set and stamped directly onto my cream card base a few trees in light grey ink. I then die cut some trees from the Tree Assortment Die Set with black card stock and layered them over top of my stamped trees.

I took my leafy fame and added foam tape behind it and added it to my card base framing up all of the trees. I then stamped the hello sentiment which is from the FaDoodle Frames set. I trimmed around it and added it with some foam tape to my card and that completes the second card.

For my last card, I heat embossed the Leaf Frame image from the Leaf Frame Rubber Cling Stamp and Die Combo with white embossing powder onto some watercolor card stock. I then used the Distress Mica Stains to create the background. I just love the shimmer these provide. I then trimmed the panel down and added it to a burnt orange card base.

I then stamped my sentiment which is from the Bold Statements stamp set. I die cut it using one of the oval dies from the Spring Ovals die set. I die cut the oval two more times and glued them all together for added dimension and that finishes off this last card.

Alrighty then, that's all I have for you today. I'd love to know if you have a favorite out of the three cards I shared. I love how you can use the frame with or without the die, depending on the look you are going for. I had so much fun with this set that I will have two more cards coming a bit later using it.

Thanks for showing the various ways to use the frame, Alanna. These all look great. I think if I really had to choose, my favorite might be the first one with the second one a close second. I like the shimmer look on the first and the fall colors on the second. The third is great, too, don't get me wrong! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful weekend. Crafty hugs!
