2 Slimline Cards with the same Supplies

Monday, October 18, 2021

Hi friends. I have two slimline cards to share with you today that both use the same supplies from Whimsy Stamps. For my first card, I started by taking the Slimline Buttercup papers and die cutting one of the patterns with the Slimline Pillows die

I created a shaker card with different wells with the Slimline Pillows die. I had a lot of fun creating this portion of the card. I used the Robins Egg Sprinkletz to fill my shaker windows along with some clear sequins. I used this foam tape which is awesome because it has a thin width but it is deeper so you don't need to double it up.

I then stamped, colored, and cut out a couple of the images from the Bunny Balloons set and added them on the outside of the card. I finished off the card with a sentiment.

For my second card, I took the same Slimline Pillows die and die cut it once from white card stock and once from another pattern from the Slimline Buttercup papers. I then added the white outer frame directly to my white slimline card base. I then inlaid a couple of the blue inner portions along with some of the yellow inner portions that were left over from my first card.

I stamped an image from the same Bunny Balloons 2 set and cut it out. This time, I didn't color in the image. I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment from the same stamp set and added some white enamel hearts.

I appreciate you stopping by today. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
